My old hose was kinked beyond repair, but this replacement snaps on just like the original and the threading feels solid. Used it for two full carpet cleaning sessions already and it hasn't leaked a drop so far.
Finally got around to swapping out the old hose and this one's definitely built better than the original, the fittings click in place without any wobble. Used it for a full carpet cleaning session and the water flow stayed steady the whole time.
The connection fits snugly onto my SteamVac without any wrestling, which is exactly what I needed for a spare. It feels sturdy enough to handle regular monthly cleanings, and the length gives me good reach under furniture. Glad I grabbed this before my old one wore out completely.
