My old hose was too short to reach the top of the stairs, but this 8-footer connects straight to the machine and glides around corners without kinking. It's made cleaning the landing and tight spots under the couch a whole lot less awkward.

The 8-foot length is a lifesaver for getting up into the ceiling corners and down the staircase without dragging the whole machine around. It clicks onto my unit securely and hasn't popped off once while I'm reaching. Exactly what I needed for those fiddly spots.
