I was a little skeptical that a foam filter would make much difference, but the difference in the air quality in my living room after vacuuming is honestly noticeable. Took maybe two minutes to pop this into the vacuum and it fits snugly enough that I don't worry about dust sneaking past the edges. A full month of weekly cleaning and the airflow still feels as strong as day one.
